Cobra Instrument Cluster

Is the 95 Cobra instrument cluster the exact same as the GT...i.e. 150mph speedo and 7k tach?

the speedometer goes up to 160 and they have white faces

From what I understand a 95 Cobra cluster should plug straight in to a 95 GT. 96-98 clusters require a little bit of rewiring.

what is the deal with the cobra gauge cluster, up until 97 they all had a 7k tach an said unleaded fuel only, an then in the middle of 97 it looks like they changed it to an 8k tach an it to say premium unleaded fuel only, i found two 97s and hey have different clusters, and they are from reputable dealers who havent tampered with the cars in that way. did they change them in the middle of that year?

I like it for its authenticity (but then again im doing a complete cobra transformation).

nah the best part of it is the factory white faces and 160mph speedo. and 96-98 should all have 8k tachs
