intake manifold,,right...the Intake Elbow Adapter is needed in the 94-95 models notice in the foxbody cobra intake, it has no curve to it as needed in the 94-95 models. the adapter allows us to run the foxbody cobra intake.

this is a foxbody cobra intake notice no curve at intake as needed by the 94-95 models..

It will clear the hood just fine, If I were you I would try and find an original 94/95 Cobra intake manifold because from what I've heard the chinese made Cobra replica manifolds have a problem with sucking oil into the engine. I put a 94 Cobra intake on my car a couple of months ago and like the gains I made from it, and the install was a breeze.

Question to everyone........

If one were to go with an 86-93 Cobra intake and the 94/95 adapter, would there be any missing connections OR would this be a direct replacement?

In other words, would the install of an original 94/95 Cobra intake be just about the same as the one I mentioned above.

As someone who has to pass emissions AND who wants to keep the stock hood, I'd think many would be interested to know that the 86-93 Cobra intake with the 94/95 adapter is an equal swap in all respects.

Thanks.

the upper intake is the same as the 302 but the lower intake on the 351 will not fit the 302....

If your interested I know of a shop who still has the frpp cobra intake made for 94-95 mustang (no elblow needed) It sells for 250 brand new. FRPP doesn't make them anymore and they're on clearence. If you live close to Los Angeles Co. you can pick it up, that way you don't have to pay for shipping. Heres a pic
