Yes, side to side but I meant the brackets rather than the bolts. Look at the lower control arm bolts for example. The force would come from the tire side, and all that's keeping the control arm from tearing that bolt off is the two pieces of metal on either side. I don't understand why they didn't have the "X" section take the control arm side-forces. Notice that the upper control arm and upper shock mounts are also designed that way. They didn't even bother with gussets to try and spread the load of the bracket.
That Bluemoon site looks like any other street rod suspension vendor. Flash over function, both products and website. Are those Global West control arms they sell? Or just tubular stock replacements for $600? Who knows? Who cares? It's shiny!
