you should just race someone with the same mods as you and lx tails, if you win its cobras, if he/she wins its lx's LOL.

If you are still running headlight covers i would go with lx's with smoked taillight covers.

The only thing that I dislike about the SVO lights, is that they sit further in when compared to the LX lights. So your left with a slight overhang of the trunk lid edge. Other than that I like the SVO lenses...

For YOUR car, the LX lenses are smoother looking.

i just took some LX's off my GT a few weeks ago and put on some 86s that i painted and pinstriped. but i have a GT which i think cobra's look better on. and yes that is racing duct tape on my bumper. proven gains in aerodynamics.

They both look good. Keep them both and change up your style every once in a while. I love the Cobras...because they are rare....but I love LX lights. They remind me of being younger with no license and you see fast cars you wished you owned when your 16+ years old!!

+1. that's what i'm doing. yeah i remember when i was younger, i saw a white GT with cheese graters drive down the street once, i've been a stang fan since. now anytime i see a stang with graters, that memory pops into my head.

Ahhh yes!!! That good ole GT lights!! I love those too! But they have to be perfect. No paint on lenses, no chips be license plate!!

IMO they look best in white!! I had two white GT's....and I am so glad I still have pics. I should frame them and hang 'em in my basement.

LX's are the way to go. A much cleaner look. It's crazy how much they go for now. Considering they came on every mustang besides the GT. Minimum they go for is $100 used on ebay. And the lense new are around $149...just the lenses not the housings.

F----E-bay!!! I bought two pairs from different buyers. The pics were perfect!! I get them....NO PACKAGING material!!! They were unprotected...all the broken peices were in the box!!! The first GT paint I lost 4 dollars because of pay payl on that deal...the second pair from an LX I lost 10 dollars...pay pal..and CC interest...because it took forever to get the refund!!

I will only buy new parts from now on!
