Cobra owners please explain this

Since I used to own a Cobra and would still own it if my buddy had'nt totaled it please someone take a look at this video and explain.
I believe this is an 01 in the left lane and an 03 in the right lane. Is this staged or what????

I remember reading somewhere that saleen has 600+rwhp.

The car in the left lane does look like an '01. The car in the right lane looks & sounds like an '03, but.... the video has some "suspect" editing that makes the Saleen appear to be much faster than it really is.

Yea, thats what I thought too Meat. It all makes sense now though. I learned that yellow Saleen is a '99 S351 blown and making around 650 rwhp. The video is legit. Damn. That is some car.

1. Sensible option 03/04 Cobra with $1,500 in mods = 440 rwhp = not too shabby

2. $60,000 late model S351R 430 rwhp stock, bigger blower, power pipe, new tune = 650 rwhp! nuts!

Now my old 9 year old Saleen has some hope.

Hey Meat, how much did those JBA shorty's help out? I have been thinking about those.

And the saleen probably had a run at it before the cobras took off... but... its just a mystery

Nonetheless, the editing of the videos is supurb!
