Well I installed a Cobra R brake kit on my 00 GT. After the install it seems that brake lines are too close to the edge of my wheels. I have 17x9 konig villians so I am running a wider wheel than stock, but a very common wheel upgrade. Has anyone else had this problem? Did I install the lines incorrectly?

I ran 18x9 so I don't have the problem. Can you wire tie them to the shock?

So this is only a problem with 17's?

I would say probably. Those brakes aren't even designed to go on 17" wheels, 18"s are recommended. They won't fit under the stock 17" wheels. That gives you more room the way the hose angles up.

That does make some more sense, since Cobra Rs ran 18s. Many road racers are running 17s though, maybe they all zip tie the lines back?
