surely your not talking about me?
it was my opinion and nothing more ....and was never meant to hijack any thread.
now that i think about it i probably shouldn't have said ugly a$$ because what each one of us do to our cars is our own identity to our car, so excuse me for that bold statement .
but i'll say it again; i'm still not a big fan of that hood.

Found another one showing the underside from when I first installed it, with all the oem hardware attached. Got this hood on e-bay from hood4sale not a bad part a few minor imperfection but I have yet to ever see an after market fiberglass piece that didn't need some work done to it.

heres the best one I could find. I will admit there are several different designs of this hood. Some more aero than others. This shows the curves well.

Your a big boy you can take it. Hey look at it this way, sometimes some one degrading you car can help you make better choices in the future? Don't get me wrong, its a nice hood but just doesn't follow the lines on a fox, its more for the 94 and up stangs i think! But obviously your trying new things, for example the saleen side skirts with the gt/cobra ground effects. Not the best but it looks good.

every day is a learn experience for me and now i know that what i thought was a 2000 cobra r hood is your ordinary 95 cobra hood.
This is my car....be careful what you post on the forum, Im a fellow member. Excuse me for not going with the universal 2.5" cowl hood like 90% of cowl hoods. It looks much better in person, but thanks for the nice comments. After all of the hours I put into the car, its exactly what I want to hear

its cool- I respect peoples opinions, just that first one rubbed me the wrong way
the hood has grown on me, but with the new setup I am considering a new hood anyhow. Stay tuned for a ...."which hood" thread. Id like to be a little lower profile who knows I might end up rocking a fiberglass stock style hood!

are you thinking of the cobra "r" svo hood? if so i have it on my car and a saleen wing also! the pics are in my sig! i dont know if you will be able to really see it though! and the car is put away for the winter now so i cant take any for you! but if this is the hood your looking for i will look through some pics i have and will scan them for you ! no, he's looking for the cobra hood that has a series of small vents opening towards the windshield. its called the y2k cobra, yours svo is different, with a large scoop opening towards the front of the car
