I am going to get some new tires for my car since it is about that time. I am wanting to get some chrome Cobra R's I have a 99 Cobra so i was wondering if i should go with the 17's or the 18's also what all will i need to know when getting these. will everythign be ok with the IRS and the new rims? Where is a good place to get them? I have seen them on e-bay for some really good prices. I am also going to have to wrap them in some tire tires so some input on that woudl be nice too. Am i looking around a grand? what price rang am i in?

:stupid:

I have the 2000 chrome R's and I love them. I had 95 R's in 17's and they looked good, but no where near as good as the 18's. I would also suggest getting the authentic R's and not a knock off. They are generally a better quality wheel and the center cap is much nicer on them. I got mine through Diversified Motorsports for $285 a piece. I've seen some of the knock offs go for $300 plus. Just my $.02

thanks for the input. Is the number 9 in a rim size the with of the wheel Ex: 18 X 9 I think it is but i want to make sure they will bolt up right with my IRS. What size would you go with? I know 18's but i have seen 18X9's and 18X10's somethign like that. Yea if i get them i would like to get the real ones. I have seen that just about everybody has the cobra R's so figure i woudl jump on the band waggon since they look so nice. lol thanks

You can save some mad cash if you just wait and watch on ebay. They is a section you can click there for wheel and tire packages since you'll be needing tires as wheel, although granted the tires you'll get won't be the best. My advice is to just watch ebay for a week or two and save yourself a few hundred bucks. I got my wheels and tires shipped for $1150.
