Cobra R's from a 1985 lx to my 1990 Lx?

This question may have been asked before, but I'm looking at getting these wheels and tires from someone. Its a set of 17" silver cobra R wheels on a 1985 Mustang LX. I like them but they are to just hold me off until I do my 5 lug conversion with some silver or black bullitt wheels. anyway, every where I look at cobra r wheels on line they say they are only for 87-93. Is there a certain cobra r wheels that are made for the earlier models? Or has this person possibly changed the front spindles to a 87-93?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they are 4 lugs, which I assume since you are talking about changing, then they will fit on any 79-93 Mustang with 4 lugs. The 79-86 cars have the same front brakes & spindles as all of the 87-93 4 cyl cars. It seems like some of the vendors just put a generic "87-93" on their parts sometime, and forget that many will work on the older Fox cars too.
