cobra wing question?

ok due to some recent hail damage to my car there is some mods in the future including new hood and poss rear wing...question is does the cobra wing cover up the factory 2002 gt rear wing holes or do you have to weld and finish them to correct them. thanks in advance guys,

The 03' Cobra spoiler will only cover 2 of the 4 GT spoiler mounting holes (the two near the back of the car). The other two will be in plain sight. You also have to drill 5 new holes to mount the spoiler properly. No welding - you will need to have the open holes filled with the proper flexible filler (SMC), if you want the decklid to look mint. Or you can try to track down a Cobra lid (trunk). You will also need a new wiring harness in order to use the LED third brake light as well as the inner trunk light.

I just ended up buying a complete Cobra decklid from the wrecking yard because I think the plugged holes look like crap, & I didnt want to drill extra holes in my Mach decklid just in case I ever wanted to go back to stock.
