Code 0602

I just scanned a friend's car, and that code came up on my machine, but it didn't have any explanation of what it was. I'm doing this post from a phone, so I can't look anything up. What does this code mean? Thanks.

Control Module Programming Error

Possible cause = VID data corrupted by the scan tool during VID programming.


diagnostic aid = Using the scan tool. Reprogram the VID block. If PCM does not allow reprgramming of the VID block, reflashing PCM will be required.

In other words, go to dealer and get the ECU/PCM reflashed with lastest program.
