Hey guys.

Today when i was pulling away from gas station. My CEL light came on and when away real quick!

When i pulled the code it happens to be 327.

It has something to do with EGR. I changed the EGR sensor. But never changed the ERG valve. What do you think it is?

Thanks and let me know

What does the position-sensor baseline at? Be sure the electrical connector is clicked tight.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Sometimes the EGR gets full of crap, and it doesn't open or close all the way.

I usually just replace it or delete it.

I would not touch the EGR valve itself. This should be a sensor or electrical issue. A couple of minutes with your meter will tell you where your issue is.

FWIW, I use a bore brush to clean the EGR (future reference).

code 327?

as hission50 has already said ,a simple check with a volt meter will tell you....your code is for low volatage,,the egr part is where to start looking,,,,,your pcm works with volts...FWIW your car is old and has been subjected to extreme heat in enginge bay area,,,most of the wiring has to be brittle by now,,,,
