Hello folks, I am new to this forum.
I have an 02 Gt convert. Nice car, had to install a reconditioned motor last year, stuff happens..Nice to have a new motor. Has 3" catback Magnaflow, K&N filter and a performance chip. Was running great until 3 days ago.
Got the service engine light soon notice and now the fun has started. Strong smell of fuel and the idle was erratic. Figured that the maf sensor was maybe dirty so I pulled and cleaned it. Hasn't solved the problem completely, I don't think, still a little erratic.
Since I need to clear the codes to see if there is still something going on and I need a scanner to do that, i picked one out at Sears.
Problem is, I know there is a connection under the dash on the driver's side, I don't know what it looks like.
So if one of you more knowledgeable folks can help with this I would be very grateful for specific location and maybe a photo.
