Is there any downside to running a cog belt? I know the benifiet would be no slip,but found a cheap deal my buddy got for $50 it comes with a 1 1/2 belt, alt,water pump,and crank pulley with alt adjuster.All brand new.Should i take it?¿?
Am i missing something? No where in you sig does it say anything about a blower? What setup are you running? The downside to a cog belt is also that it doesnt slip. Puts a lot more stress on the crank snout....and other components.
How do you like the TKO setup with the spec stage II by the way. Im thinkin of going with a TKO and i already run the spec II. Are you running the stock 10spline? Thanks!
no blower its just for the normal serp belt.I'm goin to eventually get a Procharger and have Sutton Performance make me a crank pully to run a cog belt on both the blower and the accessories.Is this ok?The stress on the crank will that affect anything?I have a 308 short block to go in if it does screw somthing up.
The Tremec is nice i'm still on break-in its still under 500 miles so havent got on it much yet,but so far so good.
