ok i tried posting this in svt talk but that forum is dead. anyways i recently purchased an assortment of cobra parts from a buddy that sold his car and returned it stock. one of the parts i was really interested in was the cog drive system. can i make it work on my 01 GT and just get a cog pulley for the novi? and how much do these kits usually go for? i'd like to see how good of a deal i got on it. it includes everything but the belt.

There's a reason why you don't see a lot of cog drives in use on daily drivers... they are not very forgiving when things go wrong.

Who can say? Cog drive systems were designed to prevent any and all belt slip and were primarily designed for racing. How well they hold up on a street driven vehicle is anyones guess.
