COG pulley system for '04 Cobra

was thinking about doing this setup...its considerably higher priced than the average pulley setup, but seems like it would be worth it...any opinions on this?

Having a setup where the belt can slip a little is an added safety margin that you lose when you switch to a cog drive setup.

i understand...but why would you want belt slippage? i mean if it's slipping, then you're not getting the full potential out of the blower, right?

Correct, bur with the right set of idler pulleys you can eliminate almost all the belt slip associated with high RPM/high boost applications. The cog drives do have a certain "wow" factor to them and they sound cool to boot, but they are not really meant for daily street use. I say leave the cog drives to the drag only crowd...
