coil over kit

It is time for me to put springs on my car and I need help. 87 lx 5.0. I am going to put a mm tubular k-member on my car so I was told I would need to use a coil over kit and not lowering springs. would the coil over kit have to be used on the front of my car because I will be using a mm k-member? With my 'stang still sitting very high, I did want it to be lower. If I did have to use a coil over kit, I would want to use the mm coil over kit so I stick with the same parts for my suspension. does the coil over kit lower the car at all or will the front still be high? or can you put the coil over kit on the front and use a eibach lowering kit on the back? I don't know how most people do this when using a tubular k-member?

With the tubular front kit from MM you use bilstein shocks and then they are converted to coil overs. You definitely will need the coil overs for that. You can adjust the height higher or lower with a hex key on that kit. You can also use springs on the back if you want it wont affect it but, in all reality I'd wait to get all around coil overs for better peformance and tuneability. I have the complete MM rear setup and torque arm and its amazing with just that. I can't imagine with all around MM parts. Hope that helps. You can also get a Koni coil over kit from MM but, I wouldn't recommend it.
