I was wondering, is it likely that the coil is the problem with my car not starting? I know that I'm getting power to the coil but the coil isn't sending it to the cap. what do you think?
If you put a test light across the electrical connector going to the coil and crank the engine, the test light should flash. If it does but you dont have actual spark leaving the tower on the coil, then the coil is likely your issue.

give us a lil more information on the situation.. what is the car doing exactly?? when was the last time you replaced the plugs, cap, rotor, wires? what have you tried already?
