Coil relocation

Hi, friends.

I've seen alot of pics of guys running there igntion coil to the left side of there engine bay.

Should I tie into my TFI wiring? From the TMoss wiring diagram looks like I could grab the hot right there for coil connector. Not sure where to grab neutral?...fuel connectors...ground battery lug on engine?

Thanks for any advice.

The ground has to come from the TFI. It is modulated.

Accessory power can come from an ignition wire that is hot during *cranking* and running.

For future searchs....Pin 4 on TFI and what hissin said will work.

Here we go again. This diagram from Joe's (S&2B's) site is the one most people here reference, so it's the one I reference.

Pin 4 on this diagram is a crank signal.

I still dont understand the reason to count backwards as you go down the connector. If you start a list if things, you always start at the top with 1 and then go down and the numbers increase.

I hear you Joe. That confused me the first time too.

I think I will either just have to say "from the top of the TFI, it's the Xth wire down" or just post the diagram and note which number it is. We just gotta be sure people are on the same page.
