i was looking at National Parts Depot at a pair of front lowering springs for my 69 stang... lowers the front of the car one inch.... $78 or so.... OR the street bandit handling kit.. same front springs. front and rear sway bar. lowering blocks. KYB gas-a-just shocks and most of the hardware for like $450

does anyone know how these kits are or have any better recommendations?

i have all new suspension parts under the car now except upper control arms and coil springs (all reconditioned) but my car is sitting VERY high in the front... like the suspension is bound up.... but if i push the top of the tire i can see the control arms move so i know that isnt the case.. also i have loosened the bolts to try to get it to lower itself..

***i think*** just a theory*** when the coil springs were media blasted and got very hot.....may have changed the spring rate stiffer.....i have not gotten a chance to disassemble it.... i have a broken collar bone.... so i still need to inspect it...

has anyone ever had this issue before????

Mine are bound up, but.....

I got the 620 lb spring rate with the 1 inch lower ride height. Its just too much spring for a car with a small block in front, I have NO suspension travel up front unless I hit the brakes real hard then the nose dives a little bit. You didn`t mention your spring rate, so I dont know if thats it or not.

It does corner like its on rails though.

I`ve got alot of Opentracker stuff under my car, and if I had talked to John before I set my springs up, this probably wouldn`t have happened to me, he is a good guy, and like the other guy said, he will not oversale you. He even talked me out of a few things he could have made money on.
