coil springs

You can get 720 lb springs from Maier Racing or 750 lb Grab-a-Tracs from Mustangs Plus. They are pretty stiff. 620's would be fine with any good shock Koni, Spax etc.

The person who owned the car gave it to his son, who F^&%* it all up. pulled the engine and took an engine and tranny out of a TRUCK to race it. Theorizing that if the engine in a heavy truck can go fast. In a light mustang light speed is attainable.

Some interesting info about the 351M
http://www.projectbronco.com/History/history_of_the_ford_351m.htm

By the way, the 351M and 351C weigh about 550 lbs. The 302 is about 470, 351 W about 510, and the big blocks are in the 640 - 680 range. Springs designed for any 351 would be ok.
