I've been having a hard time finding a cold air intake explicitly for the `94 Cobra.

BBK is telling me that this........should work:
1712 - Cold Air Induction System 94-95 GT Mustang (Chrome)

Any other manufacturer suggestions? Thanks.

whats so funny? You get lil to no gains from a cai vs a drop in filter. Its a cheap mod to just make the CAI and is not too hard on here. A couple members in this forum have real nice ones.

Densecharger! DeMolet Motorsports makes a great CAI and they sell Pro-M MAFs too. I bought a CAI, K&N filter & 75mm Pro-M meter for $255 delivered. You can't beat that.

Can anyone confirm whether CAI's made for 94/95 GT's will fit 94/95 Cobras?

If not, what are the differences. I know the intakes are different (duh) but I assumed the air inlet tubing and everything else was the same.

Thanks

The BBK unit works just fine. So does the one from Mac. I prefer the Mac one actually, but hey.

I just put one on my Cobra that came off my buddys 95 GT. He switched to a turbo setup, and no longer needed the intake.

Had no issues getting it on there. Took all of 15 minutes, cause I had to get the MAF outta threre.

I'd say go for the Ebay setup, that's what I have and it's a flawless fit! My buddy has the BBK setup and his tubing looks like it is much smaller than mine, and he paid double what I paid!

If you have a MAF bigger than 73mm or throttle body bigger than 65mm, the std 3" CAIs are too small and restrict flow. You can make them out of better stuff than PVC and black rubber fittings. You can get polished 3.5" Alum pipe and red or blue silicone turbo/SC couplers, reducers, and hump couplers on ebay for cheap. Check it out!

I'll probly get flamed for this but C&L makes a nice kit that comes with a K&N, "heat sheild", 76mm mass air meter, and 76mm throttle body pipe. the TB pipe has a ticker spot for spray plus the bends are also a 76mm where some cut down when they bend........ even though it really doesn't make a HUGE difference.
