Cold air intake question...

I just put in a cold air intake and whenever I give it alot of gas there's a little kind of whistle noise. I tightened everything up real good and it doesn't seem any air is leaking. Is this normal?

yes it is, mine does it all the time. I hated it at first, now I don't even notice it. That noise gets even louder when the A/C is on. Nothing you can do except take it out, or just pretend it's supercharger whine

, thats so v6:SNSign:, but when i put in my cold air in it didnt whistle or whine, kinda a loud sucking sound tho i have a 4.6

u hear that car that wasnt coming in with the bs oe intake...every1's intake makes sum kinda wooshing or spooling sound...ppl ask me while im driving what it is if i keep it part throttle jus to hear the constant noise then the bother not to race...but the Vettes think its a SC so they try and go....

If your heard how loud mine is then you wouldnt say that...and for the most part of only heard one corvette that was ever really loud...since ther pretty quiet on normal cruising...point is u will hear it just like ne1 else
