Cold air intake ?

I've herd that the dencecharger cold air intakes are so good because they resist heat because they are made out of carbonfiber or pvc pipe. So I was thinkin if I bought one of the cheap cai off ebay for like 40 bucks and got heat rape/tape for turbos would it not have the same effect as a dencecharger for way less money?

On a near stock car, I wouldn't bother with doing a CAI yet. Make your first mod a Shifter (if you are a manual) or gears... those make a world of difference.. pullies next and then start looking a CAI.. FIPK2 is a popular choice for a CAI around these parts. Don't waste your money on something that you will end up replacing later when you realize that you can get more of a gain w/ a different product.

EXACTLY!!! I would not do more than a K&N air filter
