hi

wich cold air intake you think is the best because i whant to change my wimpy reactive gettin hot air from the engine i think about buying the AFM(andersonfordmotorsport) what you say because the AFM is pricy!

The AFM pipe is suposedly quite a good piece..I run the stock air box with K&N filter and it supplies MORE than enough to feed my combo. Basic BBK and MAC type CAI kits look great but provide no performance enhancement.

Stock box with a K&N works great for moderate power levels (friend's car runs mid 12s with stock air box). For more power, get a C&L 73mm mass air - they work well.

Personally I would try and use a stock air box and K&N panel filter if you have that available. If going with a basic CAI kit and not worried about extreme flashiness in the engine compartment then the Moroso CAI kit is great. Still under $100 and works great.

if you can't get your hands on a stock airbox, the cheap ebay ones do the same as the big name ones. But, although highly debated, i'd go with the stock airbox w/ K&N.
but i whant big diameter inletr pipe 3'' or 3.5''!

CAI = cold air intake.

Stock air box = CAI = cold air intake.

Why buy one if your car came from the factory with one already installed?

Like a previous poster. Buy a larger MAF and T/B to help get more air into your motor... That is where your car really needs help.

I'd buy the MAC fenderwell CAI :D

ME I never bought it for a MOD... never thought it was .... and I damn sure never bought it to make for more hp !!! :rlaugh:

The only reason I bought mine because I personally didn't like the look of the factory ugly a$$ hosing and how it looked. And if someone comes up with something better looking I'll "probably" buy that :rolleyes:, but that just me.

Obviously we don't all see it in the same way and I can understand that. But if
aleborjas just re-read these 2 Quotes and they pretty much sum up what CAI is all about in my opinion, and after that do what you want to do.
