I have a stock 2008 GT with a K&N air filter and flowmaster mufflers

I've had my car since 05 and as soon as it was available i got the K&N "cold air intake" that came also with the filter. I also have Flowmaster super 40's for my exhaust. I've never had any trouble and it still runs great except for a sparkplug problem I am resoling next weekend. Ill try to record a sound clip of what mine sounds like. Original piping.

Do you intend to tune the car? It makes a huge difference, and the best intake kits usually require one.

I know one of the Stangnet vendors has a really nice CAI which makes great power without breaking the bank. I have one on my car and it works well.

Steeda and JLT have two of the highest power producing CAI for reasonable money. I went the extra mile and bought this one: http://www.wmsracing.com/new_wms/05hvi.php

Requires a tune but it looks and performs awesome.
