I've been looking around for a cold air kit for my 1967 Cougar 5.0L EFI conversion project. Ron Morris Performance has an intake tube for $80-$130 depending on whether you want chrome. This is outrageous since no filter or brackets come with it. What is everyone else using? I don't see why a standard '89-'93 Mustang cold air kit won't work, unless the standard tube bend doesn't clear the shock tower. Seems like it should clear with no problem provided an EGR eliminator is used. Then, just have to worry about dummying up a bracket for the mass air. Thanks in advance.
