I have an 86 stang that isnt idling, smells rich, and hesitates when cold. Car is supercharged w 19lb injectors, edelbrock upper and lower, 70mm tb, 76mm mass with 19lb tube. Just replaced fuel regulator, plugs look decent, cap and rotor are good, changed fuel filter blah blah. TPS voltage is at .98. Whats the first thing u would check. Thanks.

Havent pulled codes. Dont have access to a scaner. Car wont run well or long enough to get it to autozone. But i did realize the previous owner has the heater tube assy. out of the car and no ACT sensor plugged in the harness. Maybe the issue? Gonna go pick one up and new plugs cause she has doused them plugs in fuel. Also gonna check o2 sensors. Dont think goin with 24lbe'rs will help in this case. When heads and cam come...absolutley.

Don't need a scanner for our cars. Assuming the hardware is still in place, do this. It should work like a charm. Search "DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test Procedure" on google. First link.

The ACT sensor may do it, but it would throw a code. Same with the O2 sensors. Just spend the 10 minutes pulling the codes. It'll save you time and part swapping man.

Good luck.

Well i got the ect plugged in and new plugs and she is still idling jacked and intermitantly it seems like it runs on 6 cylinders and does small intake pops. Slows down instead of speed up while it does that. Gonna try the code pullin trick and see what happens. Thanks for all the input.
