Cold idle problem.

I recently installed my 65mm throttle body and 70mm MAF. I bought both on eBay and both are supposedly 1993 Cobra pieces. The MAF was listed as being calibrated for 19lb injectors. Both were in very nice condition and installed without incident. Since the install, I have a really crappy cold idle for the first minute or so. Once it warms up everything is fine and the car runs great. I didn't do anything to the IAC valve except unplug it, unbolt it and install it on the new TB. My EGR was carboned up pretty good and I cleaned it up a little bit. My base idle is set to about 850 according to my dash tach. Any suggestions?

Sounds like IAC problems. Did you use a new gasket? Are the electrical connections for the IAC clean & shiny?

No, I didn't. I would think that a TPS problem would affect general runability, rather than just cold idle. If not, how do I set it?

Yes on both items. Can the IAC be cleaned or adjusted?
