im thinking about ordering the summit trick flow top end kit....
what lifters should i run (stock/aftermarket) to make it work it doasent come with them...

what oil pump should i run or should i stay stock....

and should i upgrade to the track heat springs/guides..someone said they arent very good on the twisted wedge heads any truth......

im trying to debate wether to get that kit or a s trim kit

either way ill have ...

70mm t.b
76mm c&l mass
255 high pressure pump
30 #inj(n/a) or 36#inj(sc)
afpr

what would you do ....8-10 psi s trim with a power pipe and msd...or the h/c/i

I really dont think you can go wrong either way. With the Trick Flow kit you wont have to run premium gas, though. I personally think that doing the engine before any power adders will be the most satisfying.

Use the stock lifters unless you want to spend $350+ on aftermarkets and unless you have an engine with loose race tolerances, use a standard volume oil pump as well. Remeber to use an FMS or ARP pump shaft too.

I've heard of people having problems with high volume oil pumps. I think a new standard pump would be just fine.
