Not sure what your BIOTCH is about. Up until yesterday I have had NO issues with them I have more issues with my wireless network card than with comcast...

There was some sort of outage yesterday but it was all cleared up by about 8-9pm..

Well, yesterday was horrid...but in the past we have to reset the modem usually twice a week or so. And customer support says this is normal. That my friend is the issue. I dont want a band aid, I want it fixed, and all they offer is "you need more memory" or "clear your cache"

I'm happy w/my Comcast connection - have very few service interruptions or other problems. It is pretty expensive, though.

Weird... I've heard of lots of people having problems, my cable at home has been a little slow a couple times but nothing too bad at all. Guess I'm just lucky, keeping my fingers crossed...

Yeah, I'm pretty torqued about this whole DNS problem with Comcast myself. I'm sure that they've got it resolved now, but you could always add another DNS server to your IP config or change your DNS servers altogether.

Luckily I was able to work around the problem by using a VPN connection to a customer and use their DNS servers to resolve IP addresses.

We have had 3 computers on line with Comcast for a year with no problems.
