Well my birfday was 2 weeks ago.

My mom bought me a gift but it had to be ordered and took a few weeks to get to me.

It came in the mail today.....

I got a CD-ROM of 40yrs of the X-men :D . It has every page of every issue from sept. 1963 to Aug. 2005 with all special editions and annuals. By every page I mean even the ads and editorial pages.

I am a comic child dork at heart...:rlaugh: . I was looking and they have the fantastic 4, spider man, iron man IIRC. The greatest thing is I can just read them and not dig them out of the boxs under our spare bedrom. I have x-men comics going back to 1968 and preatty much every one from 100 to 29x. One of my oldest is a mint #2 iron man. I really have not read/bought a new one since I was 15 or so back in the early/mid 90's.

Anyway, thought it was a cool gift and thought some other "grown up" comic lovers would like to know something like this is out there.

cool i have a nice collection too but i refuse to go through them most of them havent seen the light of day in years. I really enjoy it but havent done much collecting in like 12 years. I remember cataloging them all and pricing them wow that brings back alot of memories. can you let me know where they got the cd that would be really cool.

Yeah, a guy at work told me about this a while ago. It is very cool. I like reading comics, but hate digging them out of the boxes. Then you have to try and be so careful with them so they don't crease or anything.
I currently have the collections for Spiderman, Fantastic Four, The Avengers, X-Men, and Ultimate X-Men on my computer.
Next on the list is to get the collection of The HULK.
