thinking about a plain old 5.0 combo. Stock bottom end, stock heads mildly ported until i can afford some good heads, weiand or edelbrock performer intake and 650 carb. basically a stock motor but i wanted a cam now for the lump that i could also use once i got bigger heads. The cam I was told that would work was 35-328-8 xtreme energy cam. it has a .512 lift with or with out 1.6 rockers, do not remember. Now does anyone know if this would work without upgrading the valve springs? Thanks in advance and any other cam suggestions would be great.
