looking for a sound clip of this cam. if you have one or could make one, it would be GREATLY appreciated. i may do away with the TFS 2 cam and go with this one. the bottom end of this cam picks up alot sooner and should broaden my power curve ( thanks Jason @ AFR! ) on my setup . im wondering how wicked it sounds. has alot of lift

please post any sound clips and input on this cam

thanks guys

i run the crane 2021 cam.. basically the same exact came.. thing is badass.. with flows it has a slight chop to it.. so you can hear it and know its there.. but isnt like the E cam at all in amount of loping.. thing is wickedly strong.. you'll love it

sounds like the cam makes great power....just not a whole lotta lope. really wish i could have the best of both worlds.

i heard my buddys 302 with the TFS 2 and it sounded freakin awesome.
course its 224/232 and 542/563.....quite a bit more duration than that comp 266.

i bet that TFS 2 would be pretty bad in a 331...

Go custom, why guess? Just match the valve springs to the cam. Your cam grinder will set you up with them. If you go stroker, go 347. Like i've said a million times to you, don't give up FREE cubes! You need more manifold especially if you go stroker, but i'm sure you know that.

quite a bit more expensive. i think im good on the manifold. the street heat will put that power down low where i want it.....everyone says trackheat but they both share the exact lower.

thanks

A custom cam is maybe $100 more than that junk comp cam you were looking at. A custom cam designed to give you the low end torque you desire will make the $100 well worth it. If you go stroker, you need more manifold. For a 302/306 you will be ok since you want a mild combo but you WILL restrict that head.

Im running that cam, and I love it. It lopes nasty at start-up but then idles smoother once the motor is warmed up. It sounds like an f cam when I first start it up. I would take a sound clip but unfortunately I crashed my car

BTW , I based my build off of a few articles from AFR and COMP's website. AFR's and the 266 make alot of streetworthy power. With a carb and 1:6's they were making upwards of 400 horse
