Are all 4V heads the same? I found a good deal on a lincoln mark VIII longblock with 4V Heads. Will these heads bolt up to a 5.4 shortblock? How are these heads different from navigator heads or 03/04 cobra heads?

mark VIII heads are "b" heads, which are the same as the ones used on the 96-98 cobras. 99-01 cobra heads are "c" heads as are the 03-04 heads, but the 03-04 heads are revised and flow better. FR500 heads are also "c" heads, but they are better for N/A than the cobra heads. "B" heads and "C" heads have different shaped intake ports, so the intake manifolds are not interchangeable.
