I will be changing a cam in my friends car, and we were wondering about getting a complete gasket kit. Jegs has one for 302 up till 91. Why not 92, 93, 94, or 95? Where can i find a gasket set for it?
Looking to change the cam, port and polish heads etc. etc. etc. march 13.

Your local parts store should have a gasket kit on the shelf for the 302. But just so you know the only thing that is different on them is the water pump to timing cover gasket on the 94-95 cars. They have the explorer style pump and use a different gasket. Everything else is exactly the same on them.

True, they would have it, but i need some other things from jegs, such as the rear gear installation kit and some other things, and they have the same handling charge. Plus, they wanted more than jegs charges. the jegs part is 720-7121, in case you were wondering

it says
"Fel-Pro R.A.C.E. (Remainder to Assemble Complete Engine) Sets include the gaskets that can change from application to application which may include: rear main seal, water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, timing cover, and thermostat gaskets."
so what about the head, intake, exhaust, etc...

This is the FRPP engine kit i got...it covers em all, and i would think Jegs does to...this does 83-95 302s...its got like 6 freakin w/pumps gaskets alone, plus all the seals, rear mains...you name it, its in here...this kit os a HI-PO kit for Ford made by Fel-Pro....the intakes are like 1250s, the exhaust, 1415...it a sweet kit to have for a rebuild...only thing it didnt have was the EGR gasket...'Jegs may be just the same??? Think I paid 80.00 for it....
