Ok, so I think that I have everything I need to do my conversion from C4 to T-5. This is what I have so far:

T-5 Trans out of a 95 GT with Shifter
clutch
flywheel
crossmember
transmission mount
throw out fork and bearing
clutch pedal for 1968
1968 manual power brake pedal
clutch pedal and brake pedal support mount
JMC hydraulic clutch kit.

ok, well, I think thats everything. Some of you misunderstood me one time, Im not converting from a 4 or 3 speed to a T-5, im converting from a AUTO to a STANDARD. Let me know if im missing anything, im about to order the Hydraulic clutch kit on monday.

thanks folks!

Pilot bushing/bearing that goes into the end of the crank?
Fluid for the T5?
Shifter boot and seal thingy to seal the underside?

I think you got everything else you need though. Good Luck!!

:bang: god damn it! How could I forget that pilot bushing!?

The guy that sold me the T-5 said it takes ATF? is that true?

I guess I need to get the shifter boot and the underside seal thingy:rlaugh:

wow, thanks for reminding me about the pilot bushing!

Thanks for posting this list, I'm doing the same swap on my 67' and will use this as a checklist. I'm having trouble finding the pedals, my car has non-power drums. I am going with a cable set-up vs. the hydro. set-up.
John, I also forgot about the shifter boot & seal thingy, I will now start hunting one of those thingy's down....

Maybe you can find those "thingys" at a ford dealer:rlaugh: idk though, im going with the Hydro setup, and i had an easy time finding the brake pedal. If you need a clutch pedal, Mustangs Unlimited has it for 139. if you go with the hydro setup, you dont need a spring on the pedal rod because the slave cylinder automatically retracts back the pedal.

Let us know how your shifter lines up

The '95 has a longer bell housing compared to the '93 and earlier, so I'm interested to see how it goes.
Also ATF is correct. I like synthetic, like a Royal Purple, etc.

Good luck,

Scott

I was kinda shocked when the guy told me that the trans uses ATF! Ill see how well it lines up, right now the thing that concerns me is the clearance between the booster and the apron, so i can mount the JMC hydro MC.
