Okay guys, yes this is not on a modular motor, but I am sure that you can help a brother out!

I was changing the plugs for the nitrous and while they were out I did a compression test!

Here are the numbers. I am overall glad with the numbers except number 3 is lower? Anyone want to calm me and say that is fine that it is within 10% of on another?

1. 182
2. 182
3. 170-172
4. 182
5. 182
6. 182

The number 3 plug was definetly fudged up with some deposits on the tip and electrode.

They all seem to be running just a little hotter and maybe just a tad lean not much, and I am only using mid grade gas!

I know that with the no2, i am going to be running high octane and going to get by and let Tim do his magic to have a safe a/f and get as much N/a on the car as I can!

Thanks for the help!

Anyone else want to throw a shot out for a brother! I only have about another 10 minutes to finish the install on the nitrous and being my daily driver I have to be safe!

Thanks for all the help that I have had all the years here at StangNet!

You've got a cylinder with a little blow-by. It's burning a little oil, but the compression is still there. Yes, it will only get worse...but certainly not for awhile. Could even be a valve guide or something in the head.

RACE engine=rebuild.....STREET engine=keep having fun with it!

Just MHO.
