I was going to build a custom PC.... i know what im doing but i was wondering what you guys think of this deal.. I need it to be able to run photoshop and some games and to hold alot of movies... the 500gb hd is what im going with... and upgrading to the 3.2 chip and the 2 gb ram.... Ill in a 3rd when i get the pc

You can build a better one cheaper through newegg.com.

You can build that machine with the upgrades that u want for about 100$ cheaper and use the savings for software( which the ebay machine doesnt have)

also 18$ to upgrade from 3.0 to 3.2 is a waste of money imo.( you wont notice the difference)

65$ to upgrade to 2 gigs( u can buy 2 gigs of ddr2-800 for less than $90)( ebay is ddr2-533)

75$ to upgrade to 500gb hd( you can buy a 500g drive for $99)

IMO this probably wouldnt be a bad deal if the upgrades were not so high and it came with software. For the money you would spend (upgrades and shipping included) you could build a better machine with software for less $$$.

yea i was going to get the ram and processor... but not the HD... ill run dual 250gb's ill buy one in a month or 2... im pretty much doing this as a base to work with... i can build pc's somewhat but i figured this would be a good start...

you think i should just buy the PC as is and buy some better ram and a HD down the road??? My mom is a teacher... and i have XP professional and home edition that are copys used for the School computers... SO i have an OS... and photoshop and flash and everything...
