Concerns after header/H pipe install...

I mean I think I hear a leak, but sometimes it sounds like its something inside the engine like pinging or knock or something, but I have no idea what that sounds like. I'm gonna try to get the bolt on the header today at lunch, and my o2 extensions should be in today and I'll put em on tommorrow at lunch. Would o2's not plugged in be making my engine screw itself? I'm like paranoid now.

Kinda figured that. I also have a catted H and flows so it doesn't sound much like stock. But I'm talking like a crazy ticking noise that goes up and down with the revs and sounds like poo. Its driving me nuts and increasingly makes me think that my engine is gonna blow up any second. Everyone pray for me that I can reach the last header nut because I'm goin after it in a few minutes. My extensions will be delivered tonight but I don't have a jack so they probly will be going on tomorrow.

dropping the k-member isn't that bad at all, and it shouldn't mess up your suspension or steering. There is definately a lot more noise like what was said. I have all kinds of horrible noise from where the dipstick is rubbin the driver side header. Because it's a ticking sound it does sound like its going to be an exhaust leak

Well, I got my o2 extensions installed, what a pain in the ass. Especially when the tranny and headers are still hot as ****. Wanted to get it done quick so I didn't wait until the car cooled. never knew the tranny got that hot... Anyway, car runs a little better, no check engine light, but still the noise. I will be working on it tomorrow, trying an S shaped wrench first, and if that doesn't work, taking 'extreme' measures to get to the bolt. Hope it works and hope my gasket is still good... If not I got even more work to do.
