I went to clean my cone filter on the CAI on my Bullitt today and found the gauze is corroding on the filter (must be cheap ****). There is no marking or part # on either the filter or the intake (so I don't know which make i have as I bought the car with it already installed). Anyway I decided to replace the filter and wanted to know what size would be the biggest i could go and still fit in the fenderwell? The intake pipe size is 3.5" o/d bottom of the cone 4.75" top of cone 3.5" length 5.5". The green-filter website in the uk lists this size of filter but says only suitable for applications up to 250hp. Do I need to / can I go bigger?

OMG - that looks horrible! Is that rust on it? Here, get a K&N. They make literally thousands of filters, and are considered the best in the business.

Yes it is rust! Thanks for the welcome guys. I believe there are about 5 DHG Bullitts in the UK and I know of 1 True Blue Bullitt. However I think it is the only Bullitt in Scotland where I live!

green performance is pretty much the same as K&N, one is green the other is purple. check both sites and see what can be obtained.
