I've done a search here and am a little confused. I want to do a disk brake conversion on my 68, which has all drum brakes currently, but I'm confused, whats the difference between a brake booster and power brakes?
Confused... Power brakes, or Brake booster. Whats the Dif?

ok, 4 wheel disc brakes is just that...disc brakes on every wheel(I assume you know that) 4 wheel disc can be used with or without a power brake booster...the brake booster makes a brake setup power or non-power, a brake booster pulls vacuum from the engine to assist in braking...if you have a brake booster you have power brakes, if you dont have a brake booster you have manual brakes...thats pretty much the definition of power brakes, if you understood that
Got it, thats what I was kinda figuring, but from what I was reading here through my search I somehow got confused on what was what. Thanks for the help!
