The backspacing for the 17x8 is 4.95" and the 17x9 is 5.95". I would also get a 1/4" wheel spacer for the rear. That may be true, but the thing is that (he says) they're telling him that the tire will not fit on the wheel specifically because it's a 4-lug wheel. We all know the lug/bolt pattern has absolutely nothing to do w/ the size of tires that will fit on the given wheel.maverick0716 said:You can't compare the same with tire with a different size wheel. But the 265s are very similar in diameter to the 275s. Would it be a big problem for the speedo if I do 265. Kumhousa.com has a chart for each of their wheels and one of the rows has diameter.
