Connecting a shift light to an MASD 6AL

Okay okay there's a typo in the title!

I have an RPM window switch connected to the tach output on my 6AL box now. I would like to add a shift light. Can I simply tap into the tach output wire or would that cause problems with the window switch? Has anyone used their tach output for multiple devices?

I believer MSD makes a tach output splitter. Try and look into that. It may even been included in the kit.... I dont have my MSD box kickin around so I cant tell you for sure But I think I remember reading something of that nature. Good Luck
