Will the factory connecting rods from a 2000 5.0 hold up against nitrous or boost?

There was no 5.0L OHV engine in a Mustang in 2000, unless you've got one in there that was once from an Explorer. If so, yes they'll handle a little nitrous or boost.

You'll have a couple 4cyls before that's an issue!
