Whats up guys im new to the forum. Im currently 24 and have had my 87 fox body since 2008 when i was in high school. Its currently only has a 2.3L in it, but i am considering doing a 4.6L swap with help from my dad.
My dad has an 86 that originally was also a 4 cylinder car and he put in a 302 into it several years ago. His car also doesnt have any emissions parts on it and if registered it will have a milage limit every year.
The plan for my car is to fix all of the rust on it, most of its done though. Fix some issues with the interior and then pick up a good running lincoln mark 8 to rob parts from. We have an idea of what the 4.6 swap entails but we are both unsure. So if anybody can help that would be great!
Also ive read that you can swap an 03-04 cobra steering rack and irs into the fox body. If anybody can help with that it would also be great!
A little bit about the car, the odometer on the car said it had 86000 on it and didnt show any signs of having over 100k on it. The only thing the car needed when i got it was a new tail pipe and rust work. When my dad was doing the rust work he tossed my trunk lid and replaced it with the one that was on my sisters 84 before it was totaled.
