Console delete in a 94?

I could have sworn many, many moons ago that I saw a kit somewhere for one of these. Does anybody make something like that for the SN95 cars?

I have strange tastes (steelies anyone?) and I think that given the uselessness of the stock cupholder, and a few other things, I might like to try getting the console out of there altogether. I just want to make life easier instead of having to fabricate some new parts.

search, console delete in 94/95 tech title is under= learned somethin the hard way he showed how he deleted his console was looking for it myself looks like my old 66 pretty cool

Sweet! lots of good info there. I think I might want to keep the bezel around the shifter though, so it looks like I might have to fab something up. I dig the look. Simplicity rocks.

I put a '98 console in mine for the cupholder reason. I think it might be the only year with a decent cupholder that matches our year's saddle or black interior colors. The harness is nearly identical and plugs right in without any issues.
