As some of you may know I posted few days ago how I shifted from 2nd to 1st @ WOT.

Everything looked and sounded fine until the next day......

I noticed a strange rattling noise coming from the clutch pedal. It feels like its vibrating. It doesn’t happen when u first start up the car. When U engage the gear and drive it starts rattling. When I stop and rev the car it rattles also. Its very weird and no noise is coming from the tranny or the engine. When I pull the pedal up a little or engage it again and rev, it all disappears.( I tried adjusting the clutch with my toe but there are no clicks. One dude at the track with a mach1 tried and said he got one click out of it. Maybe he over did it??)

Maybe its something minor and has nothing to do with the miss shift.

Thank you.

Maybe you broke a tranny mount? Have you inspected the car yet?

Im guessing u use the stock shifter. That thing is crap i missed 3rd gear all the time before i got a steeda shifter. i even did the same thing as you once, but i wasnt at WOT. i think if it was a broken mount it would rattle more on start-up. My guess would be you fried the hell out of your clutch. It could be the throwout bearing but all of these would make noise from inside the tranny itself, maybe it has nothing to do with the missed shift

It feels like it has nothing to do with the tranny. Its like a clutch pedal is misplaced and hitting something. But the rattling is soooo rapid not just rattle, rattle but like 10x faster.

I also did not smell the clutch being burnt at the time.

I guess Im going in for service tommorow.

Thanks.
