I'm about to buy some upper and lower control arms to put in as I get my torque boxes welded up but I'm having trouble deciding on which ones.

You can get an upper/lower kit for $155 from Blue Oval Industries or you can get the kit for $1,000,000 from Maximum Motorsports and there countless options in between.

If I don't care about raising the rear end with weight jackers, don't "think" I will be adjusting my pinion angle, and will basically be driving this car to the drag strip (no road course - 2K miles a year on the street), what control arms should I go with?

Please note that I am not looking for brand loyal retorts, but rather educated responses based on factual information regarding why I need to spend a lot rather than a little. And if 220 for the UPR upper/lower is all I need, please say so.

I will be running slicks maybe 5 times to see what it will run with them, but I'm building the car to be a "street" car. It will run street legal radials (maybe drag radials) 99% of the time. I plan to put about 400 RWHP down. Thanks!!!

I was in the same spot you are 2 months ago. If you're not going to be racing with taller tires, you're right, you don't need the weight jackers. On the pinion angle adjustment.......uummhh, I'd keep that flexibility with adjustable uppers. Any choice over the OEM is an improvement.

Brands?.....your call. MM is famous for their quality products and yes, they are pricey. I would look at the different offerings Pro3i, Granatelli, FRPP, Steeda,....have and match the resources ($$$). Information is key for your decision so, a search by brand in the different forums will help you with your decision, I know I did. What did I choose? Granatelli weight jackers (new aluminum design) and Granatelli uppers, eventhough that brand has been a theme for discussions, as you'll find out. GL

i bought lakewood uppers and lowers there traction action set up. i have been very happy with them. they are not adjustable uppers but i have turned out sdome 1.6 sixty foot times with them and i have CRAPPY KYB STRUTS AND SHOCKS AND LOWERING SPRINGS. so i think they work just fine
