Just out of curosity I would like to know what my eight mile time would compare to a quarter mile run. I have been 8.30 at 85.3 I just would like to know about what my car would run in a quarter.

I would say you would be in the high 12s with all things else being equal. I could be wrong though.

I looked at my handy stack-o-timeslips, and came up with one in which i ran an 8.303 at 85.7mph 1/8th mile, in the quarter i ran... 12.881 at 108.09. Just to give you an idea of what it could/should be. This run was with a 1.93 sixty foot btw. So high 12's seems pretty close

Seems like with a 108 trap you should be 12.7-12.8

high 12s to low 13s is right on unless you are turbo car or something....

nope plain old power, and my 60's are 1.90s the best ever being 1.89.

I just read somewhere that you can multiply a 1/8th miles time by
1.51 for power adder cars and
1.55 for N/A cars and

it seems pretty accurate the times I've used the equation.
